Farm Policy

• End tariff war so we can rebuild our grain export markets.
• Increase ethanol and bio-diesel production. Stabilize RVOs to give stability to the markets.
• Require major meat packers to buy mostly from the cash market.
• Restore our soft power with USAID or other food foreign aid.
• Increase SNAP benefits.
• Invest billions in genetic development at our ag schools to provide reasonable seed costs for farmers. Seed that have publicly owned genetics that allow farmers to replant or do as they please.
• End tariffs on Canadian potash and other inputs.
• Put an export ban on natural gas to lower costs for drying, electricity, and nitrogen fertilizer production.
• Enact right to repair legislation.
• Allow DEF delete on a county-by-county basis.
• Allow family farms 5 year income averaging for tax purposes.
• Grants to ag schools for development of robotic farm labor.
