My Policies
Strengthen Democracy
Get money out of politics, end gerrymandering, and get rid of winner take all elector selection.
Fair Tax Policy
Take advantage of the wisdom of the 16th amendment by making taxes fairer, based on the ability to pay.
Balance the Budget
End subsidies and other welfare for corporations but keep corporate taxes low and end loopholes. Get Military waste, fraud, and abuse under control.
Bolster Social Security and Medicare
End the push for the privatization of Social Security. and Medicare while strengthening benefits.
Biography
I was born at Parkview Hospital in the 50’s. We lived near Harlan. My dad was an entrepreneur involved at first in the poultry industry. My earliest work memories are of helping my mom give the afternoon feeding to the thousands of chicken at our place. My dad took an opportunity and became a successful home builder and later opened our family grocery store.
I went to Woodburn Elementary School and later to Woodlan High School. During my school years I worked in the home building industry. I knew how to build a house by the time I graduated from high school. After High School my parents asked if I would help out at the grocery and with the untimely passing of my dad I ended up working there for 40 years.
Since leaving the retail trade I have tried to find something of value to do. With the obvious lack of intelligence in our congress I feel called to offer my gifts.
